We accept almost all forms of insurance. For most insurance companies, prosthetics are covered based on medical necessity. Because of this; we require a letter or prescription of medical necessity from your eye doctor or Ophthalmologist in order to bill through your insurance. Prior authorization may be required depending on your insurance. Our office staff tries to obtain these documents for your convenience. It is always recommended that you contact your insurance to see what they cover for ocular prosthetics as it may apply towards a deductible or co insurance you may have. Final determination is made once the claim is processed. We do everything we can to make this process as smooth as possible. Our goal is not to turn anyone away based on their financial situation.
